| Dear Community, We are writing to relaunch the Fall Family Survey. Please follow this link where you will find the survey, background video and presentations, and summary of Alameda County health and safety standards. If you have already taken the survey, your answer has been recorded and there is no need to take it again. The survey will remain open through November 12th.As a note, the health and safety standards are summarized in the presentation with slightly longer summaries on our webpage. We’re providing the standards to give you a good general idea about what school might be like for in-person instruction. Those safety standards – PLUS any conditions that we agree to with our labor partners – will have to be in place.As you may know, there was a problem with offensive language being placed in the survey when it launched last Thursday. As soon as we learned about the issue, we removed the language, closed the survey, and issued an apology. Since then we conducted a review of our procedures. Our Technology Services team reviewed internal technology on the back end and found no security issues. As a result of that and some research, we concluded that an error in the survey settings allowed for public access to the editing functionality.
