Join us on Thursday, October 6th, at the Kapor Center to celebrate the 4th Annual Black Excellence Awards. We will be honoring Oakland’s Black Sheroes and Heroes in Education and celebrating the life and legacy of our beloved Dirk Tillotson.
From 5-6 p.m., we will have a happy hour, allowing the community to mingle and network.
The formal ceremony is from 6-8 p.m, which will feature presentations on the progress of our SOBEO campaigns. We will also announce and celebrate selected honorees.
The ceremony will take place in beautiful downtown Oakland on the Kapor Center’s Rooftop. Please RSVP if attending, and we look forward to seeing you this incredible night in celebration.
