The Unity Council is starting its summer Earn and Learn 7-week program for ages 16-21 and will provide support with transportation, food, child care, and more. This year’s program is estimated to start around mid-June or the beginning of July 2022.

YEP – Youth & Young Adult Employment Training Agency
New Door Ventures – 14 week employment program for youth (ages 16-24) to help them develop job and life skills. Youth participate as a member of a cohort, consisting of 15 – 20 interns. Young people learn with each other during their internships and support their peers.

Berkeley Youth Alternatives – YA administers multiple employment readiness strategies for youth and young adults ages 14-24. Participation in the Career Development Center’s programs prepares today’s youth to enter the workforce of tomorrow equipped with the needed skills to transition from adolescence into adulthood. BYA is offering PAID Internship Opportunities to East Bay residents ages 18-24. Limited availability. Intake form is here. BYA also has a program for youth on probation.
