The school year officially starts on Monday – August 9th! Is your child(ren) enrolled? If you are still making a decision, Great School Voices analyzed some new data that may help make that decision a bit easier.
Great School Voices took a look a some new data recently released by the state. We broke it down into subgroups (schools showing progress with Black, Brown and low income students). Use these lists as starting points and do your homework. Here you will see data on graduation rates, change (how much scores went up or down from year to year) and status (overall scores), which together provide a more balanced look at school quality. The following analysis results are specifically for Black students. Other groups (Hispanic/Latino, API & others) will be analyzed in the near future.
